Terms of sale and use of GeekStat Menus

Last updated: November 7, 2026.

These terms govern the purchase and use of GeekStat Menus (the “app”). The owner is David Baños Expósito (“we”); his full details are in the legal notice. You can write to us at david@teluria.es.

1. Who sells to you

Your order is processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller, which is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle takes payment, issues the invoice, handles taxes, and processes refunds. When you buy, you also accept Paddle’s terms of purchase, shown during checkout. We are responsible for the app, the license and the service.

2. Free trial

You can use the full app for 7 days without paying, starting the first time you open it. There is one trial per Mac. When you close the welcome window, the app sends our server a pseudonymous identifier of the Mac, its model, and the app version (see the privacy policy), so the trial can’t be repeated. When the trial ends, the app stops measuring until you activate a license.

3. App license

4. Weather

The app’s weather forecast comes from MET Norway, a free external service. It isn’t run by us, and we don’t guarantee it will always be available.

5. Price and taxes

The price is shown on the purchase page with taxes included. The final amount depends on your country: Paddle calculates it and shows it to you before you pay.

6. Refunds and withdrawal

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Details are in the refund policy.

7. Connections and privacy

The app sends no usage data or telemetry. The connections it makes, and what data they receive, are explained in the privacy policy and in the app itself.

8. Warranty and liability

The app shows system data and weather forecasts as provided by macOS, the sensors, and the weather services, and we don’t guarantee their accuracy. Don’t use the app to make decisions on which the safety of people or equipment depends. If you change the fan mode (fixed speed or curve), you do so at your own risk. None of this limits your statutory rights as a consumer, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Changes don’t affect what you’ve already bought unless they benefit you.

10. Law and courts

Spanish law applies, without prejudice to the consumer protection rules of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by contract. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence or contact your local consumer protection authority.

This is a translation. If it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
